OBOES AND BASSOONS
Instruments can be issued from the school. Must have at least 2 reeds at all times.
TRUMPETS
Recommended mouthpiece size 5c or 11B4 and valve oil
HORN
Can be issued from the school but mouthpiece is purchased separately. Recommended mouthpiece size: 32C4 and rotary valve oil
TROMBONE
Recommended size 6.5 AL and slide cream
EUPHONIUM
Can be rented from the school but mouthpiece is purchased separately. Recommended mouthpiece size: 6.5AL and valve oil
TUBA
Can be rented from the school but mouthpiece purchased separately. Recommended mouthpiece size Bach 18, Yamaha 66, Conn or Schilke and valve oil
PERCUSSION
Standard beginning band bell kit (can be purchased from local music store) and Vic Firth 5B wooden tip
